Production Manager

Key role will include managing the team processing our daily egg production along with packing of daily orders for distribution, tasks will include:

• Production planning and execution including, inventory management, liaison with GM regarding supply issues etc
• Quality control of product and Production Floor management
• Order collation and preparation for timely dispatch including liaison with Office Manager
• Coordination of drivers/supply chain to support Office/GM with distribution
• Staff management on grading floor, including training and coordination of staff for other farm duties and weekly rostering
• Uphold RMP requirements, including cleaning, labelling, packaging.

Requirements:

• Must be reliable - week day and public holiday work required with weekend work possible
• Physically fit as role is physically demanding and heavy lifting is involved
• A keen eye for detail and take pride in your work
• Ability to multitask and prioritise the days jobs
• Have a focus on producing the highest quality eggs in New Zealand while able to perform under pressure with quick turnarounds for our amazing and supportive customer base.
• Must be able to respond to an ever changing environment
• Have a positive, can do attitude!
