Equip Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading FMCG manufacturer in search of a skilled Maintenance Technician to provide casual support across mechanical and electrical systems.

This role is perfect for semi-retired or senior tradespeople who want to stay active in their trade while enjoying the freedom of part-time or project-based work.

• Diagnose and repair faults across a range of production machinery
• Support a 70/30 proactive-to-reactive maintenance model
• Manage issues from fault identification to resolution and optimisation
• Assist with equipment commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting
• Perform light fabrication or wiring tasks as needed
• Maintain accurate records in the Preventative Maintenance (PM) system

• Trade certified in mechanical or electrical (dual trade a bonus)
• 5+ years' experience in FMCG, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Comfortable working across multiple production lines and PLC systems
• Knowledge of GMP, health & safety, and quality standards
• Flexibility to workday or night shifts as needed

• Experience with BWM Main Track or SAP maintenance systems
• PLC knowledge (e.g. Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Omron)
• Exposure to OEE or continuous improvement initiatives
• Fabrication or machining experience
