Senior Veterinary Nurse

Wadestown Veterinary Clinic and Cattery is seeking a qualified experienced senior veterinary nurse (>4 years) to join our small dedicated and welcoming team.

• Monday-Friday (4.5 days/39 hours)
• No weekends or out of hours
• 8.30am to 6pm with 1 hour lunch (8.30am-2pm on Mondays)
• Friendly and well-supported team
• Confidence working as a sole-charge nurse, alongside our full-time vet: theatre prep, anaesthetics, admissions, discharges, triaging, cattery admissions/discharges (no cattery work), nurse consultations, patient care and diagnostics etc.
• Minor reception work required -covering the desk during breaks

• Welcoming clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism
• Outstanding clinical knowledge and confidence in role
• Calmness, empathy, enjoy a laugh
• Excellent communication and client relationship-building skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask
• Confidence with computer systems - we use ezyvet and gmail/drive
• Positive approach to change and improvement
• A team player
