Carpenter

33 - $35 per hour

Are you an experienced carpenter with at least 2 years of experience in New Zealand? We're looking for someone to join our team, working on a commercial project in Invercargill.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of carpentry tasks, including framing, foundations, and the installation of windows, doors, and other fixtures.
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to ensure work is completed to specification.
• Ensure safety standards are met and adhered to on-site.
• Work effectively with your team, communicating clearly to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Be comfortable working both as part of a team and independently when required.
• Occasionally work Saturdays as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2+ years' proven experience as a carpenter.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work.
• Full tool kit to carry out your carpentry duties.
• Reliable transport and a punctual work ethic.
• Site Safe certification is advantageous but not required.
