Quantity Surveyor - Foundations

Location: Christchurch

This is an opportunity to make a real impact across foundation and civil projects that shape Canterbury's future structural and civil landscape.

• Produce accurate measurements, detailed estimates, and comprehensive cost control for foundation and civil works.
• Work with estimating software (BuildExact) to prepare cost reports and manage variations
• Support the project team with financial insight and recommendations
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to ensure smooth project delivery
• Contribute your initiative and leadership qualities within a small, skilled team of three

• Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, or relevant experience
• 3+ years' Quantity Surveying experience, including experience working on New Zealand projects
• Proven exposure to foundations, concrete, groundworks or civil packages
• Strong technical and commercial skills, with attention to detail
• Confident communicator who builds great relationships with site teams and suppliers
• Leadership potential - able to take ownership and drive outcomes, (no direct staff management experience required)
• Experience with BuildExact or similar estimating/QS software

• Competitive Salary package depending on experience
• Full-time, office-based role: 7:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
