We provide assurance that social service providers can deliver quality services.

We do this by assessing organisations against the Social Services Accreditation Standards (SSAS) and making sure they meet these standards.About the role | Mō te tūnga:We are looking for Assessors to complete the accreditation function of social sector service and community providers who are funded by government.

Te Kāhui Kāhu provides independent assurance by providing a high-quality flexible service to meet the expectations of the sector.We are committed to building a team that reflects the Social Services sector and we welcome applications for people from all backgrounds.

You will be working both independently and collaborating as part of an accreditation team.What you bring | Ōu pūmanawatanga:Skills & ExperienceTo be successful in the role you will need: The ability to build and maintain relationships at all levelsStrong communication skills both written and verbalKnowledge or understanding of the accreditation or contract processThe ability to work independently and as part of a bigger review teamAnalytical and critical thinking skillsKnowledge of appropriate computer software for word processing, spread sheets, databases and office systemsVision and instinct, decision-making and big picture thinkingA good understanding of quality-based assurance processes or the ability to up-skill quicklyHigh level of accuracy with attention to detailFull driver's licenceThis is a rewarding and varied role for a self-motivated, ethical and open-minded person.
