[ref. s0876922] Milk Processing Operator - Tokoroa
Green Valley Dairies is proud to be one of new Zealand’s largest family owned and operated organic dairy factories, located in the North Waikato in Mangatawhiri- just 15mins south of the Bombay hills. We are currently recruiting for an experience processing operator to join our team within our fresh milk production team.
Reporting to the Production Manager you will be responsible for the receiving, processing and pasteurizing of raw milk.
You must have previous experience in dairy processing with working knowledge of food safety and hygiene on the production line.
Key responsibilities include
Ensure all known pathogens are pasteurized and product is processed according to specifications.Run and maintain related equipment within dairy production environment.
Closely monitor production process and follow standard operating procedures for product batching and processing.
Completing paper work and maintaining records (charts, CIP logs, sanitation logs, production logs, and other needed documentation
Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties.
Maintain sanitation of equipment including Clean in Place (CIP) and hand cleaning.
Maintain communication with other departments, management and associates and notify them of any problems or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of production.
Follow established programs, policies and practices to produce safe quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements.
Considerable level of fitness requited to be able to stand and work for long periods
Able to work shift work on a rotating roster of morning afternoon an night shifts
