Business Operations Lead - Northern Region - NPHSat Te Whatu Ora -
The Business Operations Lead supports the operational and business management across the region.The primary purpose of the role is to lead, manage and support operational coordination and requirements across the region to deliver the NPHS regional strategic, policy and operational priorities to enable the realisation of Pae Ora.
This includes acting for and providing operational support to the Manager, People and Operations, risk and issue management, and liaison for infrastructure/facilities, business and finance management.Travel throughout the Northern region may be required.About the Team/Service/ LocationThe National Public Health Service (NPHS) within Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora, work towards Pae Ora (healthy futures) for all by engaging with the wider determinants that impact people's health, focusing on oranga/wellbeing, prevention, protection, and population-level intervention.

You're able to identify business / project requirements, develop or contribute to strategies and plans, and prioritise the work of a team.You're someone able to monitor and analyse performance to ensure the quality of work, identify areas of improvement, problem solve and make sound decisions to achieve goals.A relevant tertiary qualificationTertiary courses in risk management, quality improvement, conflict management, stakeholder engagement is desirable2+ years' experience in operational and financial management or coordination experience, ideally within the Health SectorClean, Full New Zealand Drivers' LicenceWillingness to travel across the region as requiredExperience in applying critical thinking, using sound judgment to develop options and the machinery of government Able to demonstrate mature communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to write and present effectively, and to develop, unify and maintain strong internal and external relationships essential for achieving sustainable outcomesWorking for Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
