  • Te Whatu Ora, work towards Pae Ora (healthy futures) for all by engaging with the wider determinants that impact people's health, focusing on oranga/wellbeing, prevention, protection, and population-level intervention.

This role will lead teams of nurses, kaiawhina, health promoters and allied health professionals.About youAs a Manager, Community and Whānau Wellbeing, you are an experienced leader with proven experience of building capability and lifting performance of a multi-disciplinary team/unit.

You will be able to deliver on programmes of work in a complex environment and be involved in developing and implementing effective group strategies.A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.Minimum three years working at a senior leadership level.Has proven experience in Public Health leadership and / or nursing leadership and leading Māori and/or Pacific teams.Proven relationships throughout Tai Tokerau with iwi/hapū and Pacific communities and leaders.Minimum 5 years in varied environments with responsibilities for achieving equitable health outcomes and application of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.Successful experience creating a team culture in which people proactively try innovative approaches, learn, develop and find ways to continuously improve in their area of expertise and strive to improve health equity.Working for Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
