[ref. w40831117] Retail Store Manager - Whangarei

We are looking to fill two positions of Store Managers for our two stores operating at Whangarei.

Key Responsibilities:

1. To run the store and is available to cover shifts including busiest day by turnover
2. To Manage and develop a profitable store
3. To lead , develop and motivate a team that delivers exceptional service to encourage and that our store remains the brand of choice
4. To be solely responsible for the profitability of the store and to ensure staff is taught correct sales procedures and have a good knowledge of the product they sell
5. Complete store operation requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results
6. Maintain store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
7. Maintain store staff job results by coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees, planning, joel monitoring and appraising job results
8. Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances and initiating corrective actions
9. Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements
10. Ensure availability of merchandise and services by approving contracts, maintaining inventories
11. Formulate pricing policies by reviewing merchandising activities, determining additional needed sales promotion, authorizing clearance sales, studying trends

Other details:

Hourly Pay: $25 to $30 per hour
