- The opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects ranging from $5k to $5 million, with exposure to both New Zealand and North American markets.
- You'll manage the electrical aspects of automation projects, overseeing the design of control panels, field wiring, and onsite commissioning of equipment.
- You will lead the setup and implementation of E-plan, establishing best practices and guiding our transition from AutoCAD.
- Design and develop electrical control systems, specifying, equipment selection
- Collaborating with other Engineers/Project Managers will be key to meeting technical, budgetary, and scheduling goals.
- Develop comprehensive documentation, including risk assessments, user manuals, and technical guides.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical and controls engineering.
- Experience in E-plan with knowledge of transitioning from AutoCAD to E-plan.
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical/Control Systems Engineering.
- Solid understanding of electrical design calculations and safety standards.
- Excellent communication, project leadership and time management skills.
- Familiarity with automation machinery for the food and packaging industries.
- Electrical Registration would be very beneficial
- Knowledge of programming various PLC's Omron, Allen Bradley, Festo, etc.
