Quantity Surveyor / Construction Estimator – Full Time | Auckland
Living Colour Ltd is an Auckland-based painting and property services company delivering renovation and maintenance projects across residential, commercial, and school facilities.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Quantity Surveyor / Construction Estimator to join our team in a full-time position.
The role involves estimating, cost planning, tender preparation, and monitoring construction costs throughout the lifecycle of projects, from early feasibility through to completion.- Key Responsibilities
- Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions for construction and renovation projects
- Conducting quantity take-offs and cost analysis from drawings and project specifications
- Monitoring and controlling project costs throughout the construction process
- Preparing and assessing variations, progress claims, and final accounts
- Assisting with procurement of subcontractors and construction materials
- Reviewing contracts and supporting contract administration and cost reporting
- Liaising with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers regarding project costs and budgets
- What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor, construction estimator, or cost planner
- Knowledge of construction costing, budgeting, and tendering processes
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
