Due to operational risk management requirements a position has opened for a dedicated Health and Safety Officer for a specialist horticultural company.
The position involves the tasks of management of the health and safety policies for the company and staff, and the role is to develop, implement and evaluates risk management policies and programs, trains employees in occupational health and safety procedures, monitors and audits the workplace, and records and investigates incidents to ensure safe and healthy working conditions.
This position is in the great Franklin Area. The pay rate is rated hourly at between 30 – 35 depending on experience. A guaranteed 30 hours minimum of work per week is provided, along with full holidays and annual leave.
The successful applicant will require minimum 1 year of relevant healthcare experience or a relevant NZQA level 4 or higher certification.
