About the role
Are you passionate about hospitality and ready to take your career to the next level? Cobb & Co is looking for a motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house team and ensure smooth restaurant operations during shifts.
This is a full-time, permanent position offering 30 to 40 hours per week, where you’ll play a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience, supporting staff, and driving the day-to-day restaurant success.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth shift management. Lead, train, and support front-of-house and kitchen staff.
Handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
- Create Weekly Roaster.
- Communicate with all of our providers/suppliers regarding stock availability.
- Talk to the head office regarding suggesting setting up the new menu items or removing the non-popular items.
- Monitor food quality, service standards, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Manage stock levels, supplier orders, and assist with budget control.
Requirements A Bachelor's/Master's Degree, or at least 2 years of supervising hospitality experience.
Completed the LCQ Course or a current General Manager’s Certificate (Duty Manager).
The ability to manage teams in a fast-paced environment.
Must be legally allowed to work in New Zealand
Willingness to undergo random drug testing if required
A criminal history check may be conducted if necessary
