Restaurant Supervisor:

Our pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour

We are a well-established popular restaurant based in Wellington.To enhance our team, we are now looking for a restaurant supervisor to join our team. We are expecting someone who has a passion for food, attention to details, ability to multi task and be a proactive member of the team.

Skills and experience needed:

• Ideal candidates should have at least 2 years' relevant work experience in the same field or industry,
• OR have a relevant level 4 qualification or above（ equivalent overseas qualification or an overseas's occupational certificate can be accepted）

Duties and responsibilities:

• Supervise efficient working of FOH and BOH teams and assign shifts
• Oversee staff’s compliance with all health code and sanitation requirements
• Work with staff to project future needs for kitchen supplies, goods, and cleaning products
• Maintain inventory of all needed supplies to enhance sales
• Supervise workload and ensure effective working of restaurant activities and maintain excellent standards to meet operational expectations
• Assist in hiring and training new employees as well as the continuous training of existing staff
• Respond to customer complaints quickly and resolve them effectively
• Coordinate with team to ensure customer satisfaction and follow company procedures to increase work efficiency
• Resolve staff grievances together with Restaurant Manager
• Coordinate with Restaurant Manager for everyday operation and maintain financial and administrative records
