BAR Manager

Hours: Minimum 30 per week

We are looking for a BAR Manager who can effectively manage the overall operations of The Lakes Sports Bar i.e. Bar and Class 4 gambling Site

1. Plan, organise and oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, including bookings, private functions, promotions and overall service delivery.
2. Lead, train, supervise and roster staff; provide coaching, performance feedback and conduct regular staff meetings to achieve business objectives.
3. Develop and implement strategies to grow local patronage and bar revenue through promotions, events and innovative service ideas.
4. Manage budgets, cash handling, financial reporting, inventory control, supplier coordination and monitor labour and product costs within targets.
5. Ensure high standards of customer service, food and beverage quality, cleanliness and guest experience at all times.
6. Implement company policies, procedures and continuous improvement initiatives across all operational areas.
7. Maintain compliance with Health and Safety legislation, security requirements and provide a safe environment for staff and customers.

• Qualification i.e. Diploma in Business/Hospitality management or at least 2 years of relevant experience in the similar environment.

• Team player and ability to work competently under pressure.
• Reliable and flexible to change.
