Customer Service Officer - Supply Chain

As a leading company in recruitment, we are looking for someone to join our clients dynamic and collaborative team in the fast-paced FMCG industry where you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order processing.

**About the Role**

As a Customer Service Officer, you'll be the critical link between our internal Supply Chain, Sales teams and our valued customers. Reporting to the Customer Supply Chain Manager, your key objective will be to process all customer orders efficiently and ensure stock is delivered on time and in full (DIFOT).

**Key Responsibilities**
  • Process all customer orders before cut-off time
  • Escalate supply issues early to avoid customer impact
  • Contribute to daily DIFOT and Case Fill reporting
  • Handle exceptional sales orders and follow through to successful delivery
  • Communicate regularly with Sales and Demand teams on major supply concerns
  • Manage order allocations and confirm directions before short supplying
  • Proactively flag potential out-of-stock (OOS) situations

**Experience & Skills**

**Essential:**
  • Experience in a Customer Service or Logistics role
  • Exposure to supply chain processes
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
  • Track record of resolving supply-related issues with retailers
  • Strong stakeholder engagement across departments (Sales, Supply, Manufacturing, etc.)
**Desirable:**
  • FMCG experience
