Duty Manager - Christchurch

We are looking for vibrant, enthusiastic and experienced Duty Manager to join our Front of House team! This position is available for an immediate start.

We are a busy suburban restaurant based in Halswell specializing in Kiwi Cuisine. With a team of 30+ staff across the board doing a variety of shifts from 8am - 10.30pm 7 days a week.

Must have excellent communication and the drive to work well as part of a team. This is a busy spot, so must work well under pressure.

You will have the opportunity to work in all aspects of the building, with private dining rooms, a full café and a bar. Room for growth within the team.

The ideal candidate's will be looking for a flexible roster, that can change weekly to work around YOUR schedule.

• Duty Manager responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, ensuring employee productivity, monitoring efficiency of all processes, and creating a positive work environment for employees.
• Handling customer and employee issues, cleanliness, efficiency, and ensuring that security and safety regulations are met.
• Address employee complaints or performance issues as needed, check in with employees regularly to determine satisfaction, address customer issues and complaints, and schedule regular cleaning of facilities.
• Ultimately, you will ensure all operations flow smoothly and help us provide service to our patrons that exceed expectations.
