The role is varied and, in addition to providing leadership, you will also be required to utilize your clinical skills.As the Service Clinical Director, you will report to the Director, Surgical services and assist with growing and developing a clinical workforce.
This challenging and rewarding role requires a leader with a passion for improvement, personal development of the team, an ability to deliver innovative and creative solutions, and who will also identify, create and maximize opportunities.This is a part time role with an associated indicative 12 hours per week with the remaining hours worked within a clinical role in the service.

Strong relationship building and influencing skills will be key – the role requires a significant level of collaboration across directorates and the region and with other clinicians, Business Manager, other Service Clinical Directors and Deputy SCDs.The role is an exciting and genuine leadership opportunity to influence the shape of our Service whilst maintaining your clinical skills and practice.
