The role

As our Parts Storeperson you will work as part of a small team that works to ensure we manage our stock, carry the right stock levels and parts ready for the upcoming pipeline of forestry equipment manufacturing, repairs or maintenance. With parts coming from around the world it’s important that our procurement team work together to ensure we manage our stock levels an ensure we have the right parts on hand at the right time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming parts and supplies
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and records using inventory management system
  • Conduct regular stocktakes and cycle counts
  • Order parts and supplies based on workshop demand and minimum stock levels
  • Liaise with suppliers to track orders and ensure timely delivery
  • Raise purchase orders and follow up on backorders
  • Issue parts and components to workshop technicians and mechanics as required ensuring correct part numbers and quantities are distributed
What You'll Bring:
  • Experience with inventory systems and basic computer literacy - with the ability to use inventory management software
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Manual handling experience and physically fit for lifting
  • Current drivers license
  • Forklift license (or ability to do the training for this license on the job
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • A strong customer-centric mindset with a genuine desire to exceed customer expectations
We are looking for a team player who is ready to roll up their sleeves and make a difference in our team. We have a strong focus on health and safety, and as such pre employment drug and alcohol testing and medical will be completed, as well as on a random basis.
