Daily operational management includes a clinical safety overview of inpatient areas, capacity planning, seasonal variation response, variance response management and acute patient flow.The purpose of this role is to provide senior nursing leadership and support to clinical teams to ensure the delivery of safe, high quality care and treatment that enables the best possible outcomes for patients and service users.This involves In Hours: Bed Management and resource management, After-hours: coordination and management of operational systems, processes, and resources to enable hospital services to function effectively and meet the needs of staff, patients and families, and the community.Click here to view the position description.About the Team/Service/ LocationThe Duty Manager team are a small but dynamic group of Senior Nurses who are responsible for ensuring the safe, appropriate and efficient management of staff and resources across Te Whatu Ora, Te Tai Tokerau hospital sites.

You will have an opportunity to hone your decision-making skills and to develop a greater understanding of how the hospital operates.
