Production Worker
Wanganui
We are seeking a motivated and mechanically capable individual to join our production team on a fixed-term basis. This role will see you working on the assembly line building fuel pump components. It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and has an interest in mechanical processes or manufacturing.
There is potential for the position to be extended or transition into a permanent role, depending on performance and business needs.
**Key Responsibilities**- Assemble fuel pump components to meet quality and production standards
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols
- Operate hand and power tools with care and accuracy
- Conduct visual quality checks on assembled parts
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily targets
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist in other areas of production as required
- Proven mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience in a workshop or production environment
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and moderate lifting
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently once trained
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Physically fit and reliable
- Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
- Full-time, consistent hours in a supportive team environment
