Intensive Support Worker - Night shift

We are looking for permanent full-time night shift Support Workers to work alongside, coach and mentor rangatahi and tamariki in our intensive support services in New Plymouth.
What does a Support Worker do? - He aha te mahi a te Kaimahi Tautoko?
Our Support Workers assist rangatahi and tamariki who access our services to live as independently as possible in their community.
You will:
- Work as a team to ensure consistency in your approach
- Support tamariki or rangatahi to go to school or access education
- Observe and respond to health concerns or support the overall health and wellbeing of the young person
- Support rangatahi and young people to work towards and attain their goals and improve outcomes
- Earn competitive pay rates between $23.97 up to $29.68 per hour

- Previous experience working with young people or rangatahi
- An understanding of intellectual disability and autism
- Creativity, out-of-the-box thinking, and a team player
- A full NZ driver's licence
