You’ll be joining a collaborative, values-driven team that is passionate about improving outcomes for young people with cancer. The work is varied, exciting, and meaningful. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating several network projects and initiatives.The exact projects will be determined based on the skillset of the project manager, but we’re especially interested in hearing from applicants with experience in any of the following priority areas;Developing recommendations and practical resources to promote national consistency in the medical and non-medical supports provided for AYAs undergoing medical proceduresDeveloping a comprehensive reintegration programme for AYA cancer survivorsDeveloping and implementing our AYA workforce development strategyTo view a full position description, please click here.About the NetworkThe AYA Cancer Network Aotearoa was established in 2014 to determine and direct improvements in cancer services for young people aged 12-24 years.
The Network provides strategic direction and clinical leadership of AYA cancer in New Zealand and is contracted directly to Te Aho o Te Kahu - the Cancer Control Agency to undertake this role.
