They require an analyst to provide data-driven insights that support the development of initiatives and improve patient care and efficiency.Significant areas of focus are as follows:Outpatient and Theatre Clinical capacity and demand requirementsIntegrating business and data to provide meaningful analysisAnalysis of daily operational challengesEfficiency improvements across inpatient and outpatient clinical services in relation to patient throughput/flowOperational Reports and Intelligence solutionsService Production Planning supportAnalysis and reportingEducation and support to upskill our managers and staff as requiredWe are looking for someone who has a high level of analytic skills, modelling design and development, and communication skills.
Experience in Health would be an advantage, but it is not essential.view position descriptionAbout youExperience in a business setting working with data and providing interpretation of the data to all stakeholders with no less than five years' experienceHigh level of competencies in working with complex data sets, and in data analysis, manipulation, visualisation and interpretationA passion for working with numbers in a mathematical sense- with a high sense of pride in accuracy of the data and the curiosity to identify trends and anomaliesBasic database and programming knowledge to create visualisation and reports using various BI tools.A passion for numbers and being a part of complex problem solvingAccuracy and diligence with their work outputsA team player and effective communicator, both verbally and writtenWorking at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand
