Contract Manager

We are an established demolition and strip-out contractor delivering commercial and residential projects across the Lower North Island. We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to take ownership of project delivery and operational performance.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role suited to someone who understands construction and demolition, can manage multiple crews, and is confident dealing directly with clients and the team.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

• Managing demolition and strip-out projects from award through to completion
• Liaising with clients and subcontractors
• Coordinating daily labour requirements, programming and resource planning
• Supervising site teams and ensuring productivity and quality targets are achieved
• Managing fleet, plant, and small tools allocation and maintenance
• Overseeing health & safety compliance and site documentation
• Assisting with pricing, and commercial management.
• Troubleshooting and managing day-to-day site operations

• Proven experience in commercial construction
• Strong understanding of construction methodology and sequencing
• Experience in managing multiple live sites
• Confident communicator with strong client relationship skills
• Practical, decisive, and solutions-focused
• Full NZ driver licence (Class 2 preferred but not essential)
