About the company:

Stellar Recruitment is looking for a local Automotive Technician to join our clients well performing Dealership in Hamilton.

The role will involve a 40-hour work week working on a variety of well known brands with a great pipeline of customers and demand.

Representing a proudly Kiwi owned and operated Dealership, you will work in a tight knit team that ensures client vehicles are maintained and repaired to a high level of standard.

The ideal candidate will have a workshop / dealership background and WOF certification is highly regarded.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Automotive Trade qualification
  • Full NZ working rights
  • Ability to service, repair and diagnose Petrol and Diesel vehicles
  • WOF certification or willing to get certified.
  • HV Certified highly regarded
  • Full clean NZ Driver's License

The team reports to a well-respected Service Manager that ensures his team is looked after and offer his workshop team a healthy work life balance.

The brands are strong in the market, ensuring healthy lead times, productive work flow that result in budgets being achieved.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in line with manufacturer standards.
  • Perform effective engine and electrical diagnostics
  • Perform WOF inspections
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and relevant warranty processes
  • Stay updated with the latest technical advancements and new model training
  • Follow all health and safety regulations in the workshop.
