About the Role
Step into a pivotal leadership role as our Senior Technician/Foreman at Ingham Mitsubishi in Te Awamutu. You’ll be the go-to technical leader in the workshop. You will support technicians, oversee daily workflow, ensure repairs are completed to manufacturer standards, and help deliver outstanding customer satisfaction through exceptional quality control and communication.This is your opportunity to make a real impact in a high-performing service department while enjoying a Monday to Friday schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily workshop operations and job flow
- Provide hands-on technical support and guidance to technicians
- Carry out advanced diagnostics and complex repairs
- Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and on time
- Liaise with the Service team on job progress, timeframes, and required parts
- Maintain workshop efficiency, productivity, and quality control standards
- Assist with road testing, final quality checks, and warranty repair standards
- Uphold health & safety compliance and promote best practice across the workshop
- Current clean full NZ Driver’s Licence.
- Qualified Automotive Technician (Level 4 or equivalent)
- Strong diagnostic capability across modern vehicles
- Senior technician or leadership experience within a workshop environment
- Confident communicator with a practical, solutions-focused approach
- Ability to support team performance while remaining hands-on
- Must currently reside in New Zealand with a valid work visa, if applicable.
