Operations Manager
Role Overview
As the Operations Manager, you will be the engine of our company. You will lead our cleaning teams, manage client relationships, and ensure that every site—whether commercial or residential—shines to our exact standards. You are responsible for the "how" and "when" of our daily success, ensuring we are efficient, profitable, and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise cleaning supervisors and frontline staff. Manage rosters, approve timesheets, and conduct performance reviews.
Quality Excellence: Conduct regular site audits and surprise inspections to ensure service meets our KPIs and client specifications.Logistics & Inventory: Manage equipment maintenance and chemical stock levels. Ensure teams have the right tools for the job without overspending.
Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts. Respond to escalations, handle service issues, and conduct regular client check-ins.
Health & Safety: Ensure 100% compliance with Health & Safety regulations (e.g., COSHH, OSHA, or local equivalents). Lead "toolbox talks" to keep the team safe.
Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and implement smarter ways to work, from route optimization to adopting new cleaning technologies.
What We’re Looking ForExperience: At least 2 years in a supervisory or operations role within the cleaning, facilities management, or hospitality sectors.
Leadership: A "lead from the front" attitude. You aren't afraid to pick up a mop if the team needs a hand during a crunch.
Tech Savvy: Proficiency in staff scheduling software and Microsoft Office (Excel is a must for budgeting).
Communication: Fluent English (written and verbal) to effectively liaison between clients and staff.
Mobility: A full, clean driver’s license is essential for site visits.
