The OpportunityA rare, fixed term opportunity is available to join the General and Subspecialty Paediatrics team at Waikato Hospital in Aotearoa New Zealand to cover six months sabbatical leave.We seek a general paediatrician to join our dedicated group of clinicians committed to delivering excellent care for tamariki/children across the Waikato region.
The role includes participation in the oncall roster and involvement in general paediatric outpatient clinics.Our service places high value on equity-focused care, excellence in paediatric practice, strong team-based collaboration, and the teaching and development of junior doctors.If you are an enthusiastic paediatrician who values patientcentred, teamoriented careand who is looking to enjoy the lifestyle benefits that the Waikato offerswe would be delighted to hear from you.Applicants must hold, or be eligible to apply for, vocational registration in Paediatrics with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
