Log Truck Drivers
At Waimea Contract Carriers, we are looking for dayshift drivers to start now. The positions involves traveling across multiple regions Tasman/Nelson/Marlborough region, however home base is in Tasman.
We are looking for log truck drivers with experience. Class 5 drivers license required. Training provided.
Preference will be given to drivers with local knowledge and log truck driving experience.
There is a potential weekly workload of around 60-70 hours, with a minimum of 40 working hours guaranteed a week. Remuneration will reflect experience however the hourly rate for this role starts at $34.00. Increases are offered based on experience and performance.The range for the role is $34.00 to $36.00 per hour at normal time rates. Any weekend work is paid at time and a half.
Given that the hours worked can be variable, the minimum annual pay for this role is $70,720 at 40 hours a week on $34. We anticipate that the average hours worked will be between 55 and 65 per week and for the unforeseeable 65 -70 hours.
This is a permanent, full-time position.
You will need to pass regular random drug tests.Waimea Contract Carriers supplies all PPE required for the role.
