Truck Driver - Class 5 ** Join us for 2026 Harvest

Working Hours: Monday–Saturday 06.30 – 17.00. Overtime as required
McLean Orchards is looking for a reliable, organised, and motivated Class 5 Truck Driver to transport our premium apples from our orchards to local packing facilities (Motueka & Richmond) and Port Nelson. This role is central to keeping harvest operations running smoothly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining safety, efficiency, and high operational standards.
What You’ll Be Doing- Load and transport bins of apples from our packhouse near Motueka to coolstores and packing facilities in Richmond and Port Nelson during the harvest period (February–May)
- Operate trucks and associated machinery safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with safety standards in vehicles and work areas
- Monitor and report any safety, operational, or equipment issues
- Work closely with the harvest and coolstore teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely deliveries
- Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Flexible and available up to 6 days a week during peak season (February–May)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
