Are you an experienced excavator operator with a strong work ethic and a passion for residential construction? Dig & Dump Ltd is on the lookout for a skilled, hands-on team player to join our tight-knitted team across residential sites throughout Christchurch.
About the Role:
This is a full-time position (40 hours) with a focus on:
- House foundation groundworks and site preparation
- Driveway excavation and prep
- Landscaping and earthmoving for residential builds
- Operating a range of machinery including diggers (1.7T to 20T), trucks and loaders
- Assisting on-site where needed - not afraid to jump in and help the team
- Working closely with a supportive Site Foreman and crew
- PPE provided + ongoing training and career development.
About You:
We're after someone who's not only skilled behind the controls but is also keen to much in and get the job done right. You'll bring:- Experience with residential groundworks including foundations, driveways or landscaping
- Confidence operating excavators and other machinery
- Full Class 2 licence - Class 4 preferred
- WTR Endorsements
- Good communication and a strong Health & Safety mindset
- A positive, problem-solving attitude - always looking for the best way to deliver quality of work
- Stable full-time hours
