Cook (Asian Cuisine) – Full-time, Permanent

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, suitable for someone who is organised, reliable, and able to maintain consistent food quality under pressure.

• Prepare and cook a range of Asian-style dishes, including stir-fries, curries, and noodle soups, in a high-volume food court environment
• Follow established recipes, cooking methods, and kitchen procedures
• Ensure consistency and quality in food preparation and presentation
• Assist with menu refinement and seasonal menu updates as required
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies
• Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment in compliance with food safety standards
• Support and assist in training junior kitchen staff when required
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures and regulations

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a commercial kitchen environment
• Proven experience preparing stir-fries, curries, and noodle-based dishes
• Strong wok cooking skills and experience working in high-volume service
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and as part of a team
• Good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards
• Reliable, well-organised, and able to follow established kitchen systems

• 30 to 45 hours per week, depending on business needs
• $30 – $33 per hour, depending on skills and experience
