Fireplace Service Technician

Kapiti Woodfires is looking for a reliable and motivated Service Technician to join our team.

This is a hands-on role servicing fireplaces and chimneys in customers’ homes throughout the region. No previous experience is necessary, we’re happy to provide full training for the right person.

We’re looking for someone who is practical, professional, and takes pride in their work.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Cleaning and servicing fireplaces and chimneys
  • Diagnosing and reporting maintenance issues
  • Working safely and efficiently in customers’ homes
  • Providing friendly, professional customer service
  • Representing the company with a high standard of communication and presentation
What We’re Looking For
  • Good technical aptitude and problem-solving ability
  • Respectful and careful when working in customers’ homes
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Reliable, honest, and self-motivated
  • Physically fit and comfortable working at heights
  • Full driver licence preferred
