-agency, and multinational operations across the full conflict spectrum to protect New Zealand's interests.The SOC Project Support Manager plays a pivotal role, with responsibility for:Conducting ongoing analysis, research, and development for the Special Operations Sustainment ProgrammeManaging the end-to-end acquisition and lifecycle of SOC equipment, ensuring capability assurance, precise procurement, and the effective transition, integration, and sustainment of logistics within SOCWorking collaboratively across NZDF units, this role ensures projects progress effectively and that equipment and capabilities consistently meet operational requirements.The salary for this role ranges from $88,217 to approx.

$97,359, inclusive of a 4% superannuation contribution.

Appointments within this range are based on skills and experience.Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and ExperienceWe are seeking a highly capable professional with strong experience in logistics, project management, and defence environments.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of NZDF/NZSOF systems, equipment, and maintenance requirements, alongside experience in research and development methodologies.You will bring proven expertise in integrated logistics support, inventory management (SAP), and project delivery, with proficiency in PRINCE2 and project management tools.

Strong financial acumen, problem-solving ability, and experience in equipment and quality system evaluation are essential.Success in this role requires excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective partnerships across NZDF and external stakeholders.

A commitment to continuous improvement, integrity, and self-discipline is critical.Desirable Qualifications & ExperienceExperience working within NZSOF or similar environments, along with relevant qualifications in logistics, supply chain (e.g.

Quartermaster/Band 5), PRINCE2, SAP, and Integrated Logistic Support, will be highly regarded.
