Flooring Installer

Hours: Guaranteed 30hours and standard hours of 47.5hrs/week.

The Flooring Installer is responsible for preparing floors to a professional standard, making them ready for new coverings. This role involves installing a variety of floor coverings, including carpet, vinyl, vinyl planks, ceramic tiling and laminate flooring, as well as fitting acoustic wall linings.

Responsibilities will include:

• Preparing floors ready for new floor covering
• Installing carpet, carpet tiles, vinyl, vinyl planks, ceramic tiling, laminate and acoustic wall and ceiling linings
• Liaising with other trades and project managers on site to make the job run as efficiently as possible
• Taking product to site to be installed
• Working within a team
• Working in an organised, clean, safe working environment

• At Least of 3 years' relevant flooring installation experience.
• Ability to install flooring to a high standard and within deadlines.
• Physical fitness and agility for completing installations on time.
• Team player with a valid driver's license (Minimum: Restricted Class 1 or equivalent).
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
• Have a clean police report with no charges pending.
• Relevant certificates or qualifications are highly regarded.
