Project & Operations Administrator
The working hours would be 8:00 am to 5:00 pm from Monday to Friday.
Pay Rate: $35.00 per hour

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project and Operations Administrator to support machinery and operations planning across our production and logistics environment. This role is ideal for a confident professional with prior experience in machinery scheduling, haulage coordination, workflow planning and day-to-day operational control.You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of production, delivery and inventory flow processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate machinery usage and maintenance schedules to reduce downtime
- Develop and maintain process flowcharts for day-to-day operations and production planning
- Oversee haulage control and dispatch timelines, ensuring efficient vehicle movement and order delivery
- Support planning of incoming and outgoing goods, including raw materials, packaging and finished products
- Manage ERP system entries for production orders, inventory and project timelines
- Assist in monitoring KPIs for operational performance, machine efficiency and transport
- Maintain compliance records for operational health and safety (OSH), audits and machinery certifications
- Collaborate with the procurement and sales teams to align supply availability with project timelines
- Maintain accurate documentation of daily activity, shift planning and downtime logs
- Support process improvement projects and operational reporting to senior management

ABOUT YOUThis role is not suited for recent graduates. It is ideal for someone with operational and field experience in a food, manufacturing or FMCG environment.
You will bring:- Relevant experience in operations support, production planning, logistics coordination, administrative roles, or experience in dispatch, inventory, or workflow management will be considered
- Strong understanding of machinery planning, dispatch scheduling or project-based operations
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and inventory or workflow tools
- Excellent time management, analytical and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple departments
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external partners
- A full NZ driver’s license and flexibility to travel to regional sites when required
