Infrastructure Manager
Korero mo te turanga | About the role
As Infrastructure Manager, you’ll lead the delivery and oversight of a nationally focused infrastructure plan, ensuring that access to agricultural greenhouse gas emissions measurement equipment is not a barrier to innovation and research progress.
You’ll be responsible for:- Overseeing the full lifecycle of mobile and fixed emissions measurement equipment across New Zealand from procurement and maintenance scheduling to troubleshooting technical issues, drafting lease agreements, and managing prioritisation requests.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, researchers, and equipment users to ensure appropriate access for research trials, effective scheduling of maintenance and downtime, and sufficient equipment availability to support research programmes.
- Leading the ongoing development of New Zealand’s National Infrastructure Plan for GHG measurement, ensuring it remains fit-for-purpose and aligned with evolving research and policy needs.

You will have proven experience in infrastructure or asset management, ideally in a scientific or technical environment, with strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.Your ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and organisations and understanding the importance of customer service will put you at an advantage. You will be the key liaison between science leaders, suppliers, maintenance staff and contractors, research funders, and with those making requests to use it.
