Responsible for the supervision and leadership of the NCSC Coordination and Engagement team, you will be working with units across the wider NCSC and government to respond to the most significant cyber security incidents impacting Aotearoa New Zealand.Key responsibilities Team Leadership Managing Section Output Customer & Partner Liaison Maintaining Training & ExpertiseWho we're looking forAs a leader, you will need to identify the strengths of your people and leverage these to ensure the best outcomes.
The leadership and experience you bring will play a vital role in enhancing our stakeholder relationships at both a domestic and international level. As such, to be successful in this role, you will have the following: 5+ years in the public sector People leadership experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated sound judgement, tact and integrity in dealing with sensitive issuesBefore you applyWorking within our unique environment means we have to ensure you're eligible for employment.You must: Have been a New Zealand Citizen for at least 10 years OR Hold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and ideally have been a citizen of the UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years Be eligible to obtain a Top Secret Special (TSS) security clearance Ordinarily, this means you'll have a 15 year checkable background in countries NZSIS Vetting can make meaningful and reliable checks.
