Courier Driver

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Courier Driver to join our team in Wellington. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering parcels and goods to customers across the city and surrounding areas. Whether you are delivering to homes, offices, or businesses, you will play a vital part in ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safe Delivery: Transport and deliver packages to various locations on time and in good condition.
- Route Planning: Follow assigned routes, optimizing time and distance to ensure efficient deliveries.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience.
- Documentation: Complete any required delivery paperwork accurately.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Keep your vehicle clean and report any issues to the team leader.
- Compliance: Follow all road safety rules and company policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Full Driver's License: Must have a valid New Zealand full driver’s license (Class 1).
- Reliability: Dependable and punctual with a strong commitment to the job.
- Good Communication: Basic verbal communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry parcels (up to 20 kg).
- Tech-Savvy: Basic knowledge of GPS or smartphone apps for route navigation.
What We Offer:
- Competitive Pay: $72,800 - $78,000 $28-$30/ hr
- Hours: Mon - Fri 7am-5pm (50 hrs/ week Guaranteed)
- On-the-Job Training: No prior experience required - training will be provided.
- Benefit: Company vehicle for deliveries plus 1 hr paid break
