Assistant Manager

We have a position for Assistant Manager responsible to take charge of a busy restaurants and takeaway food service that meets revenue and customer service goals for the business. The position is in charge to ensure the store operates efficiently.

• Determine and decide right price and product mix in line with customer requirements and competitor activities.
• Responsible for maintaining accurate records of stock levels and follow FIFO to ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Manages the takeaway to exceed agreed food quality safety and cleanliness standards.
• Arranges maintenance of all equipment.
• Promote, Advertise and carry out any Marketing Activities as may be required in line with budget
• Plan and identify staff requirements and recruitment needs
• Ensure the facilities operate in accordance with safety standards and hygiene regulations.

• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work independently.
• Need to be available any day / evening, including weekends / public holidays to suit business requirements.

• Work experience of at least 1 year or diploma qualification.
• Customer service work experience in hospitality industry is an advantage.
• Good understanding and knowledge of ethnic food and beverages
• Be available to work on weekends, public holidays, split shifts and late evenings
• Be experienced in performing the tasks independently
