Our Duty Managers really help to lead our team in giving our customers and our community the best experience when in store. Our Duty Managers are masters of organisation and help to keep the store running smoothly, work with our team to keep the shelves full and help to bring to life a vibrant work environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current Duty Managers Certificate (LCQ) - or the willingness to work towards this qualificatoin.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Computer literate - you know how to print a document and type a letter!
- Be available to work one day/night in the weekend (this is non-negotiable - we are open 7 days a week).
- Have a flair to seeing more than just what is in front of you - you have an eye for detail (retail is detail after all!).
- Have an understanding of what Food Safety in a commercial environment is and what Health and Safety means in a Supermarket.
- You will have had previous experience in supervising a team (but also, you know how to muck in to get the work done).
- You are physically fit - there is some lifting involved (15kg).
- Be legally able to work in New Zealand.
- Immediate start
- Permanent, full-time employment working either Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday.
- Support and training (for both the role and ongoing training as needed/interest expressed)
