Lead Landscaper + Landscapers - Queenstown

ALH have the exciting opportunity to assist with building a whole new team here in Queenstown, we are looking to fill a variety of roles, lead landscaper, landscapers and labourers. If you want to work outdoors in beautiful Queenstown we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Soft Landscaping: Site preparations, planting, mulching, and general surface finishing.
• Hard Landscaping: Paving, concreting, building retaining walls, decks, and fences. -Safely and efficiently use a variety of hand and power tools.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Lead smaller landscaping projects and collaborate with the team to ensure high standards and timely completion.
• Assist with general construction, civil construction tasks, on site drainage tasks, and site deliveries as needed.

Skills & Qualifications preferred but not required:

• Proven experience in landscaping (minimum 2 years).
• Strong knowledge of both hardscaping (concrete, paving, decking, fencing) and softscaping (planting, mulching, lawns).
• Ability to operate landscaping machinery and tools safely
• Competent in using various power tools.
• Class 1 Full Driver's License.
• Class 2 Full Driver's License and WTR (Wheels, Tracks & Rollers) License preferred, but not essential.
• Experience operating small diggers and skid steers in confined areas is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and lead small teams when needed.
• Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions. -Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability. -NZ Residency or a valid Work Visa is essential.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
