Forklift Operator | Afternoon Shift | Immediate Start

Role Details:

• $26.90 per hour plus $24.01 shift allowance per shift
• Temporary position through to mid-June with possibility of extension
• Monday - Friday, 4:00pm - 12:00am (Afternoon shift)
• Immediate start available
• Located in Hornby Christchurch
• Opportunity for extension past June

• Current OSH forklift licence
• Previous forklift operating experience
• Reach truck experience is an advantage
• Confidence working both independently and within a small team
• Strong attention to detail and accurate scanning ability
• Physically capable of regular lifting up to 20kg
• Self-motivated with a positive, proactive attitude
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Available for an immediate start

About the Role

As a Forklift Operator, you'll play an essential role on the production take-off line, ensuring the smooth flow of finished product from manufacturing through to warehousing. Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating a forklift to move and stage finished goods
• Transferring product from production areas to the warehouse
• Scanning and receipting product accurately through the stock management system
• Assisting with general warehousing duties as required

This is a hands-on, fast-paced position where accuracy, safe operation, and strong attention to detail are key. You'll be part of a small, supportive team that values reliability and a proactive work ethic.
