Job Opportunity: Electrical Trade Assistant – 3-Month Project
We’re looking for a motivated and reliable Electrical Trade Assistant to join our team on a commercial project starting immediately. Offering great pay rates and the chance to work alongside experienced tradespeople on a fast-paced site.- Location: Wellington CBD
- Duration: 3 month casusal contract
- Start Date: Immediate
- Pay: Competitive rates
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting electricians on-site with daily tasks
- Installing lighting systems (indoor and outdoor)
- Running and securing cables through walls, ceilings, and conduits
- Mounting electrical fixtures and fittings
- Using hand and power tools
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Following site safety procedures and directions from tradespeople
- Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of electrical experience (residential or commercial)
- Own transport – must be able to reliably get to and from site
- Basic hand tools preferred (power tools provided on site if needed)
- White card or relevant site safety card
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions
