If you are a qualified, with a sound knowledge of a range of motor vehicles, repairs, maintenance and servicing and who takes pride in their high standards of work and
Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering
mechanisms and other components, and checking parts
Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling
mechanical components, and referring to service manuals as needed
Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and
ensure compliance with pollution regulations
Reassembling engines and parts after being repaired
Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper
performance
Diagnosing and testing parts with the assistance of computers
May inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates (if licensed) or
Able to demonstrate strong and sound mechanical knowledge in Automobile
industry is required.
Punctual, organised and capable of multi-tasking with attention to detail.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to work on feet for extended periods.
Minimum of 32 hours/week guaranteed.
Pate rate ranges between $25 to $35/hour.

We are currently seeking an Automotive Technician to join our professional team.If you are a qualified, with a sound knowledge of a range of motor vehicles, repairs, maintenance and servicing and who takes pride in their high standards of work and
efficiency, then you are what we are looking for.
About the role - Automotive Technician
As part of this role, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the
highest standards (but not limited to):
Detecting and diagnosing faults in engines and parts Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering
mechanisms and other components, and checking parts
Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling
mechanical components, and referring to service manuals as needed
Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and
ensure compliance with pollution regulations
Reassembling engines and parts after being repaired
Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper
performance
Diagnosing and testing parts with the assistance of computers
May inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates (if licensed) or
detail work required to achieve roadworthiness
Qualification, Experience and Attributes Required
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience or atleast a relevant diploma Able to demonstrate strong and sound mechanical knowledge in Automobile
industry is required.
Punctual, organised and capable of multi-tasking with attention to detail.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to work quickly and effectively in a busy environment.
Maintain grooming and uniform standards. Ability to work on feet for extended periods.
Good communication, keyboard and written skills.
Pay & Benefits
Full time permanent employment. Minimum of 32 hours/week guaranteed.
Pate rate ranges between $25 to $35/hour.
