Experienced & Qualified Automotive Technician
As the service and repair arm of the South Island’s largest used European vehicle dealer, Christchurch European, we are looking for a qualified Land Rover Technician to expand the range of services we can provide at our new expanded workshop location.
Your position will encompass:o Service, diagnosis, and repair of vehicles, with a specific focus on JLR product but working on all brands from Fords to Ferraris
o Increasing the skillsets of our team through your specialist knowledgeo Training as required to maintain and expand your knowledge base.
What we require: o Trade qualification or equivalent automotive certification
o Proven extensive Land Rover specific experienceo Minimum 10 years working in Automotive Repair
o A high standard of work and attention to detail
o The ability to not only work individually and as part of a team, but to impart your skills and knowledge on other staffo Current full driver’s license.

We are actively seeking qualified applicants both from New Zealand and overseas. We are an Immigration New Zealand Accredited Employer and the position meets the requirements not only for an Accredited Employer Work Visa to allow you to stay in NZ for up to 5 years, but also meets the employment requirements for a Work to Residence Visa which allows you to stay in NZ indefinitely.
Relocation costs negotiable as part of an employment package.
Our large workshop is based in Wigram on the western side of the best city in New Zealand, and close to main routes for easy commuting by car or public transport.
Christchurch European Limited is a well-established local business, tracing its roots back over 40 years in the European vehicle sales industry in Canterbury. We have recently expanded into a second site called The Showroom, showcasing some of our very special vehicles being offered for sale, more than tripling the size of our Service and Repair workshop, and with further expansion planned for next year.
