Tractor Operator - Oamaru

We are seeking an experienced tractor driver for our 1850 cow dairy farm.

Located 20 minutes inland from Oamaru.

We milk 1850 cows over 500ha on two farms that are side by side. We are a hilly farm so experience on hills would be an advantage.

The main role would be feeding out, fert spreading (solid and via tow and fert) and mowing and general farm duties where a tractor is needed.

There is however times of the year where you will be required to help out in the yards doing stock work, irrigation and other general farm duties to help the wider team.

I’m seeking someone who is mechanically minded, can work efficiently and get the job done quickly while still doing it safely.

We run a 6 and 2 roster and fro 6-8 weeks over calving we run a 6 and 1 roster. Average hours will vary however throughout the year it would be approx 60 hours per week

There is tidy accomodation available on farm for singles or a family, alternatively this can be a drive in position too.
