Chairside Dental Assistant/ Receptionist
Days: 2-3 days/week (flexible days)
Team: Small supportive team environment
Experience: Not required - full training will be provided
We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated person to join our dental practice. This is a part-time permanent position as a Chairside Dental Assistant / Receptionist with flexible scheduling to suit the right candidate.
You will be working with a close-knit, welcoming team and will be supported with on-the job training - prior job experience would be ideal but not necessary.This is a great opportunity to start or grow your career in dentistry.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare the dental surgery and ensure all necessary equipment and materials are ready for the dentist
- Assist the dentist during clinical procedures
- Sterilise and re-stock instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols
- Handling administration tasks-
- Greeting and assisting patients with warmth and professionalism
- Answering phone calls, booking appointments and handling patient inquiries
- Processing payments and maintaining accurate patient records
- Contribute to the overall smooth running of the dental practice

- Is reliable, punctual, and well-organised
- Is friendly and approachable with a positive attitude with willingness to learn and ability to follow procedures and protocol
- Has strong work ethic and a genuine interest in dentistry with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and is comfortable working in both clinical and front-desk settings
