Chairside Dental Assistant/ Receptionist

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated person to join our dental practice. This is a part-time permanent position as a Chairside Dental Assistant / Receptionist with flexible scheduling to suit the right candidate.

You will be working with a close-knit, welcoming team and will be supported with on-the job training - prior job experience would be ideal but not necessary.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare the dental surgery and ensure all necessary equipment and materials are ready for the dentist
  • Assist the dentist during clinical procedures
  • Sterilise and re-stock instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols
  • Handling administration tasks-
  • Greeting and assisting patients with warmth and professionalism
  • Answering phone calls, booking appointments and handling patient inquiries
  • Processing payments and maintaining accurate patient records
  • Contribute to the overall smooth running of the dental practice

  • Is reliable, punctual, and well-organised
  • Is friendly and approachable with a positive attitude with willingness to learn and ability to follow procedures and protocol
  • Has strong work ethic and a genuine interest in dentistry with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and is comfortable working in both clinical and front-desk settings
